Erica is a senior at the University of South Carolina, majoring in public relations with a minor in neuroscience. As a Unum Scholar at Colonial Life on the Corporate Communications team, she coordinates social media efforts, community relations and external communications.

At UofSC, she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and serves the alumni relations coordinator for the UoSC chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She spends her summers on staff with the Appalachia Service Project, a nonprofit Christian ministry whose mission is to erase substandard housing in Appalachia. As a summer staffer, she manages home repair projects carried out by high school youth and adult group leaders.
