Waynelia Moser, financial analyst at Unum, gives blood to make a difference for someone who may desperately need it.
“One of the main reasons I donate has to do with the tornado that hit my hometown of Ringgold in April 2011,” Waynelia said. “The community has since recovered from the devastation of the tornado, but I wanted to continue giving back and make a difference for someone when they may need it most.”
Waynelia also encourages others to donate because there’s always a need for blood, especially in the summer months when donations are lower. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and your donation could potentially save up to three lives.
