Unum Poland named best employer, customer-friendly company

Employers of all sizes depend on Unum to provide the benefits solutions they need with simplicity, empathy and expertise. And their employees count on Unum to be there during some of life’s most challenging times.

To fulfill those commitments, Unum has made it a priority to hire top talent and provide them with a dynamic and welcoming workplace that supports the delivery of best-in-class customer service.

To showcase that dedication to excellence, Unum has received numerous awards and recognitions, including Great Place to Work certification, being named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion and LGBTQ Equality, and gender equality recognition from Bloomberg.

The most recent accolades include being named a best employer in Poland and a customer-friendly company.

The best employer title is based on feedback from employee and associate surveys in four major categories: employee engagement, organization agility, engaging leadership, and employee professional development.

“Our people are our most precious asset, and we’re determined to nurture an inclusive organization that makes us all feel welcome and gives us a sense of belonging,” said Michał Płaczkiewicz, HR director of Unum Poland. “We’ll continue to prioritize our shared values, provide ample opportunity for employees to learn and grow, and create space for individual achievement.”

This is the seventh time the company has been recognized as a best employer, and the second time it’s been named a customer-friendly company.

When an independent research firm asked customers about their experience, their satisfaction, and how likely they are to recommend Unum Poland, the results show Unum Poland puts the customer first.

“This award is so important to us because we aim to have the highest standards of customer service,” said Aneta Podyma-Milczarek, Unum Poland CEO. “This also shows we’re practicing our principles of integrity, responsibility and commitment.”
