Michelle Jackson has received national recognition for her work in absence management and improving workforce productivity.
The Disability Management Employer Coalition recently honored Michelle, assistant vice president of Sales Acceleration, with the 2019 DMEC Partnership award at its annual conference. The award recognized her exemplary support, advocacy and dedication to advancing absence management and improving workforce productivity through education, networking and other resources.
“Michelle has been a staunch supporter of DMEC and has worked diligently on the virtual education forums, supplying great speakers and content to this important education program,” said Terri Rhodes, DMEC’s chief executive officer.
Michelle and her team have partnered with DMEC for years to supply a series of online educational programs for HR professionals, including a not-to-miss session each January with the Department of Labor. The programs cover important topics for which HR professionals need additional guidance, such as managing mental health in the workplace, how to support working caregivers, and best practices for leave management.
In her 20+ year career with Unum, Michelle has focused on absence management strategies and coordinating care for employees to keep them safe, engaged, and well so they can bring their best to work each day.
